Lane Tech Warriors newspaper

The Lane Library/Media Center; located on the second floor above the Main Office is a large spacious facility, with chandeliers, dark oak paneling and huge library tables, reminiscent of a college library. Many visitors come to see the world famous WPA woodcuts by Peterpaul Ott.

Library Assistants are always available to assist students and staff to find and use materials.

Erin Driesbach

Erin Driesbach joined the Lane Tech staff in August 2013 as a School Library Assistant. Erin holds a Bachelor’s degree in politics from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from college, Erin worked in refugee resettlement in Louisville, KY before transitioning into education. Prior to working at Lane, Erin worked in Greater Boston and Chicago for Citizen Schools, a national non-profit collaborating with middle schools to engage volunteers during the after school hours. Erin both worked with students in the classroom and in administrative roles for the organization.
